How do I move a file or folder?

Method One:

  1. If both the source and destination folders are on display, drag from one folder to the other.

Method Two:

  1. Locate and select the file(s) or folder(s) you wish to move.
  2. Right click on a file and click cutRight click the file.
  3. Click the ‘Cut’ button.
  4. right click and choose pasteLocate and open the folder into which you wish to move the files to.
  5. Right click on any white space in the window.
  6. Click the ‘Paste’ button.

Method Three:

  1. Locate and select the file(s) or folder(s) you wish to move
  2. Cut and copy buttons in the command barClick the ‘Cut’ button in the command bar at the top of the screen.
  3. Locate and open the folder into which you wish to move the files to.
  4. Click the ‘Paste’ button in the command bar at the top of the screen.

How do I create a copy of a file or folder?

If you copy a file to a different folder the filename will remain unchanged, copy to the same folder and the name will be amended to include the suffix ‘- Copy’.

  1. Locate and select the file(s) or folder(s) you wish to copy.
  2. Right click, copy buttonRight click.
  3. Click ‘Copy’.
  4. Locate and open the folder into which you wish to copy the files to.
  5. Right click, choosing paste from menuRight click on any ‘white space’.
  6. Click the ‘Paste’ button.
