Why am I hearing ‘feedback’?

Audio feedback happens when speakers are set at a volume that the microphone is able to pick up and send on to other recipients. The time taken to rebroadcast this is what creates the echo effect.

It is recommended that headphones are used wherever possible, especially for larger meetings. Only one person needs to create feedback for everyone to be effected by it.
