When you are setting up your phone for the first time you can setup fingerprint recognition during this process. If you skipped this and now want to set it up, or you want to add another fingerprint follow the instructions below.

NOTE: If you switch off your phone you will need to use the PIN code for the first unlock, rather than fingerprint.

How do I set up fingerprint recognition?

1. Click to open the ‘Settings’ app.
2. Click Touch ID & Passcode.
3. Enter your passcode.
4. Click ‘Add a Fingerprint...’.
5. Follow the instructions on screen to register your fingerprint.
6. Click ‘Continue’ when complete.
