Meetings - Preventing Sharing

How do I stop others sharing their screens?

  1. Create the Teams meeting.
  2. Save the meeting then reopen it.
  3. Meetings options in the details tab in Teams meetingClick ‘Meeting Options’ near the top of the meeting window.

  1. Your default web browser will open and you may be asked to sign in. Enter your username and password as normal.
  2. Who can present in a meeting?  Option in Teams meeting setupChoose who you want to be able to share their screen/present:
    • ‘Everyone’: Anyone in the meeting can present.
    • ‘People in my organisation’: Anyone with a Key, Lifestyles or TAG email account can present.
    • ‘Specific People’: Select the person(s) that you wish to allow to share their screen. Only names of people invited to the meeting will show in this list.
    • ‘Only me and co-organiser’
  3. Click ‘Save’.

Why can’t I share my screen?

The organiser of the meeting may have prevented you from sharing your screen.
