How do I move a file or folder?
Method One:
- If both the source and destination folders are on display, drag from one folder to the other.
Method Two:
- Locate and select the file(s) or folder(s) you wish to move.
- Right click the file.
- Click the ‘Cut’ button.
- Locate and open the folder into which you wish to move the files to.
- Right click on any white space in the window.
- Click the ‘Paste’ button.
Method Three:
- Locate and select the file(s) or folder(s) you wish to move
- Click the ‘Cut’ button in the command bar at the top of the screen.
- Locate and open the folder into which you wish to move the files to.
- Click the ‘Paste’ button in the command bar at the top of the screen.
How do I create a copy of a file or folder?
If you copy a file to a different folder the filename will remain unchanged, copy to the same folder and the name will be amended to include the suffix ‘- Copy’.
- Locate and select the file(s) or folder(s) you wish to copy.
- Right click.
- Click ‘Copy’.
- Locate and open the folder into which you wish to copy the files to.
- Right click on any ‘white space’.
- Click the ‘Paste’ button.
