How do I move a file or folder?
Method One:
- Locate and select the file(s) or folder(s) you wish to move.
- Right click.
- Click ‘Cut’.
- Locate and open the folder into which you wish to move the files to.
- Right click.
- Click ‘Paste’.
Method Two:
If both the source and destination folders are on display, drag from one folder to the other.
How do I create a copy of a file or folder?
If you copy a file to a different folder the filename will remain unchanged. If the copy is created in the same folder, the filename will be amended to include the suffix ‘- Copy’.
- Locate and select the file(s) or folder(s) you wish to copy.
- Right click.
- Click ‘Copy’.
- Locate and open the folder into which you wish to copy the files to.
- Right click.
- Click ‘Paste’.
