Using Multi Factor Authentication

How do I use multi-factor authentication?

You will not be asked to authenticate if you are logging into the VDI while located in either ‘The Square’ or at Kerr Street.

  1. Log into the VDI using your normal username/password combination.  You will be asked to ‘Enter your Microsoft Verification code’.
  2. Microsoft Authenticator App iconOpen the Authenticator App.
  3. Accounts listed in the Authenticator AppClick on your work email near the top of the screen.
  4. One time passcode in the authenticator appType the one-time password code displayed on the phone into the box on the PC.
    Note: This code changes every 30 seconds. A countdown is shown at the left hand side.
