There are two ways of getting your contacts over from your Android phone depending on how/where they are stored on your old phone.
- Open Outlook on your PC and click the contacts button in the bottom left of the screen.
- If your phone contacts are listed follow instructions A.
- If they are not showing there, follow instructions B.
INSTRUCTIONS A
On your iPhone
- Open Settings
- Click Mail
- Click Accounts
- Click Add Accounts
- Choose Microsoft Exchange
- Type your email and click Next
- Click Sign In
- Switch the syncing options off for Mail, Calendars, Reminders and Notes. Leave Contacts syncing.
INSTRUCTIONS B:
On your OLD phone.
- Open the Contacts app (you wont get the correct option using the contacts in the Phone app).
- Click the 3 dots in the corner.
- Choose select all.
- Choose Export - Use the default name usually contacts.vcf
- Attach that file to an email and send it to yourself.
On your iPHONE.
- Open the vcf attachment in your email.
- Click Share
- Click More
- Click Contacts
They may take some time to import into the contacts app. Sometimes, up to 10 mins.
