How do I insert page breaks into my worksheet?
- Select the cell to the RIGHT and BELOW where you wish the break to be.
- Click the ‘Page Layout’ ribbon.
- Click the ‘Breaks’ button.
- Click ‘Insert Page Break’.
How are page breaks displayed on screen?
A think black line indicates where you have inserted page breaks. Dotted lines indicate automatic page breaks.
The example below shows both automatic and manual page breaks.
How do I remove page breaks?
- Select the cell:
- at the bottom of the dotted line (to remove the page break above).
- at the right of the dotted line (to remove the page break to the left).
- at the bottom and right of the dotted line (to remove both page breaks above and to the left).
- Click the ‘Page Layout’ ribbon.
- Click the ‘Breaks’ drop down menu button.
- Click ‘Remove Page Break’.
