Why does my phone take so long to charge?
It is always best to plug your phone directly into a wall socket rather than charge via USB on a PC. This provides more power and will charge your device quicker.
What is using my battery power?
You would expect some degradation of battery power over time. If you are having to FULLY charge your mobile more than once a day or if you think your phone battery is draining faster than it should you can check which apps are using the most power.
Click the ‘Settings’ app.
Click ‘Battery’.
The time since the last full charge will be displayed.
- Click ‘Battery Usage’.
The app which has used the most power will be displayed at the top, then in descending order.
Some of those listed may be system apps, required by the phones operating systems in order for your phone to function.
Others such as the ‘Play Store’ app, may be listed because your phone has downloaded updates to your apps.
