Occasionally when you send a message it may ‘bounce’ back to you and be flagged as ‘Undeliverable’.
This is usually the result of either the email address no longer existing, the destination mailbox being full or the address have being typed incorrectly.
Open and read the attachment for the delivery failure reason and a possible solution.
Possible Solutions:
- If the email address no longer exists check with the intended recipient for their new address.
- Some Internet ISP/workplaces only allow limited space to store messages. Should you receive a ‘destination mailbox’ full message it could be that the recipient may have to clear space in their mailbox in order to receive the mail - check with the recipient.
- If you have entered the address incorrectly resend with the correct address. Be careful when entering addresses. Should you send personal information to the wrong address, this would have to be treated as a data breach and reported to the ICO. This should be reported to Glenn Harrold immediately.
- If it is a Key/Lifestyles address, use the Global Address List to complete the address field.
