Sophos Quarantine Central checks emails as they are sent and received for malicious content. Sophos does not treat external and internal mail differently. The same checks are completed on all emails. Never automatically ‘trust’ an email because it originated internally.
If Sophos blocks an email, you will be notified and will have 30 days to release it. The email from Sophos will be one of two versions.
Messages Quarantined:
Click to release or block the email. You can also choose neither option and ignore the email.
Policy Violation:
Forward the email to ictsupport@key.org.uk asking for it to be released.
We don't need any explanations etc. “Release” will be enough (save you some typing!)
