Check your phone volume:

1. Use the buttons at the side of the phone to increase the volume.

Check silent mode is switched off:

1. Check the phone is not on silent mode. There is a switch at the left hand side of your screen. Flick this DOWN to switch silent mode OFF.

Check your 'Do Not Disturb' settings:

1. Swipe up from the bottom of your screen (iPhone SE) or down from the top right of the screen (iPhone 13) to display the control centre. The ‘Focus’ section of the control centre should tell you if DND is switched on.
2. Click the icon to switch it off.
