How do I send a large file using One Drive?

  1. Copy the file/folder to your desktop or documents folder.
  2. Right click on file and choose shareRight click on it.
  3. Click ‘Share’.
  4. Share file windowEnter the name/email address of the person you wish to share the file with.
  5. Click the drop down menu and choose whether to allow the ability to edit the file or only view it.
  6. Enter a message.
  7. Click ‘Send’.

If you delete the file before the person has downloaded it, it will be unavailable to them. It is good practice to let them know to download before a certain date. After this, delete the file to prevent further access.
