If you have lost a file or folder, use ‘File Explorer’ to search for it.
- Navigate to the folder in which you wish to search. (It will search all subfolders too).
Click in the ‘Search’ box and type your search term.
- Press <RETURN> or click the blue arrow.
Depending on the number of files and folders that exist in your search location, it may take some time to display the results (A).
TIP: You’ll get more information about the files by clicking ‘View’, then choosing ‘Details’.
In this view, you will see the file path - where the file is located.
- Double click a file to open it.
OR
Right click on the file and choose ‘Open Folder location’ to open the folder in which is resides.
