There is a rota type called “disturbed sleepover” that can be applied to the rota as and when required. 

When recording a disturbed sleepover do not amend of remove the sleepover slot already applied to the rota. 

For example – if a sleepover is on the rota from 23:00 – 08:00 and there’s a disturbance to be paid from 03:00 – 04:00, this would be applied directly on the rota as below:

This will cause the slots of support to clash, but in this instance this is acceptable.

This will allow the payroll report to pull through 1 hour as disturbed sleeping hours and deduct these from the sleeping hours.  This would result in payroll receiving:

• 1 disturbed sleepover hour
• 8 sleeping hours
